Upcoming Project: New Viewing Platform at the Airport

At the meeting last Monday, President Dave announced our community project for the 2014-15 Rotary Year.

 

Working hand-in-hand with the other two clubs in town, we'll build a viewing platform at the airport between the current terminal. Plans are at the County now and we look forward to starting on the project in the Spring.

 

The viewing platform will also include speakers so those waiting for friends and family—or those just interested in aviation—cam listen to the tower.

 

While there will be plenty of jobs for Rotarians, we will also need assistance from local contractors. If you know anyone with a backhoe or the capability to pour concrete, please let Jim Grant know. He's our Club's coordinator for this exciting project.
